COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORTS (CLS) JOB DESCRIPTION
Training or assistance to an individual who does not live in one of the residential supports. This includes a variety of activities such as shopping, household care and taking part in community activities, as long as the individual is being taught skills during the activities.
TRAINING
- Must have all the required SCL training
QUALIFICATION
- Individual must be able to travel locally and occasional overnight.
- Must have good communication skills both written and verbal and perform tasks independently in a suitable time frame.
- Performs required documentation
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- May require travel with occasional overnight stays.
- Individual must be able to bend, stoop, reach, pull, sit, walk (long periods) and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Be able to work 50+ hours a week at times as operational demands require.
EDUCATION
- Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED
Must also have a valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
